Search for a Job
There are several ways to learn about on and off-campus student jobs:
Search for positions posted on
JagJobs,
the on-line job and career resources database used by the
Student Employment Office and Career Center.
Search for positions posted on-line through your school.
Watch for fliers advertising job openings on bulletin boards in buildings around campus.
Check your email for job announcements on general listservs (Ex. JagNews) and through department/school
specific listservs.
Read through the help wanted ads in the school newspaper, The Sagamore.
Search for positions posted on-line through Human Resources.
Visit with off-campus employers when they recruit on campus. See On-Campus Recruiting Schedule.
Talk to friends, family, department staff/faculty about possible job opportunities!
Some departments/organizations even ask other students and staff/faculty for referrals.
Be sure that you are exploring all of these avenues when searching for a job!
