2008 Student Employment Appreciation Week
April 14th - April 18th

Each year IUPUI, along with colleges and universities across the country, recognizes the importance of the student work experience during Student Employment Appreciation Week. Student employment offers students career-enhancing opportunities, the ability to develop skills relevant in any career, and better preparation for the job market upon graduation. It is appropriate to set aside a special week to draw the awareness of others, both on campus and off, to the contributions student workers make in the multitude of roles they fill. We encourage all of you, as employers of student workers to recognize those students during this week and the contributions they make to your organization or department.

This year IUPUI will celebrate Student Employment Appreciation Week on April 14 - 18. If you have students you feel have done an outstanding job while employed within your department/organization, please consider nominating them for Student Employee of the Year. Also, to show your appreciation throughout the week, we have some ideas on what you can do to recognize those wonderful student employees!

Please get involved and show your student employees how much you appreciate them!
